"You'll never find a rainbow if you're looking down."

Chaplin’s really saying that where we focus our attention shapes what we experience. If your head is always down lost in worries, scrolling your phone, replaying mistakes, you’re going to miss a lot of the good stuff happening right in front of you. The “rainbow” is those small moments of beauty or possibility: a kind message, an unexpected idea, a bit of luck, even just a quiet moment of relief. It doesn’t mean ignore your problems or fake positivity. It’s more like: while you’re dealing with the hard things, remember to occasionally look up. Notice what’s still working, who’s still with you, what’s still possible. Sometimes the shift isn’t in your circumstances, it’s in where you’re looking.
